Visits to SARS branches are no longer required for the submission of supporting documents as it can now be submitted using an online form. The form can be accessed with the following link and the submission completed by following the below steps:

1. Complete the form with the mandatory information as indicated.
2. Click “Add Documents”.
3. Upload a maximum of 10 documents. Each document’s size may not exceed 5MB, must be in PDF format and should not be password protected.
4. Click “Submit to SARS”.

After submission, an e-mail will be issued indicating the status of the received documents. If the case number or tax reference number does not match the SARS records or if the documents were, due to technical error, not received, an email requesting a re-submission will be sent. It is important that e-Filers continue to use the services on their e-Filing profiles to upload supporting documents.
