CIPC Compliance

Staying compliant with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) is essential for all registered South African companies. At Pinnacle Business Consulting, we help you meet your statutory obligations so you avoid penalties, stay in good standing, and maintain the integrity of your business.

We assist businesses by submitting annual returns on time, within 30 days of the registration anniversary date.  In order to do so, we file the Beneficial Ownership (BO) Register.  Beneficial Owners is the ultimate beneficial owners or persons who control the entity and in line with Money Laundering regulations, this submission is required for all businesses since 2023.

It is important to ensure the company information is updated and maintained with CIPC.  This includes changes to directors (new appointments and resignations), changes in address, locations where records are kept, financial year end, company secretary and auditors, etc.

We can also assist in the preparation of share registers and share certificates, as required.

The latest requirement is that every business entity must be registered with the Information Regulator for purposes of POPIA Compliance.  We assist with this registration on behalf of our clients as it is a new requirement in order to file the annual return.
