1. How do you work with clients remotely?
We use secure, cloud-based accounting and payroll software like Xero, QuickBooks, Sage and SimplePay.  For meetings we use Teams or Zoom and for document storing we make use of cloud storage facilities and the built-in functionality within the accounting software.  We regularly communicate with our clients telephonically and via email and make use of third-party applications like Dext and Hubdoc to transfer documents to the accounting software program for processing. No paper, no heavy files and no travel — just fast, efficient communication and data sharing.

2. Are you suitable for small businesses or freelancers?
Yes! Our typical clients are SMEs, service-based businesses and freelancers who want clarity and simplicity, not complexity.  We work with clients in the retail sector, professional consulting businesses, creatives, businesses in the built environment and hospitality institutions.  We have extensive experiencing in managing small (1) and large payrolls (>300) with specific expertise in setting up and administering large learnership programs on behalf of our clients.

Pinnacle Business Consulting was established in 2018, is officially registered with CIPC and is tax compliant.  Since 2018, we have been providing bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, tax and CIPC related services to small business across South Africa.  We also identified a growing need among small businesses for remote tech support, training, coaching as well as data migrations from Excel and conventional desktop based software and have included these service offering to our repertoire in 2023.
